So, you all know that I LOVE Paper Smooches stamps, right? I mean, what's not to love? Kim Hughes does such a fantastic job of designing some of the cutest images out there, the graphic sets that Karolyn Loncon designs are fantastic, and the sentiments are so unique. And they all work together so well. Plus they stamp like a dream! Well...(insert drum roll here)...I am pleased (ecstatic really) to announce that I have been chosen as the guest designer for April! And let me tell ya, the April releases definitely do not disappoint. They are super cute! I cannot wait to get them and start creating! Hopefully, they'll appear in my mailbox tomorrow. I just had to share my good news. This will be my first guest designer/design team work ever (besides my LSS), and the fact that it's with Paper Smooches is just unbelievable to me. I can't wait to share all my Paper Smooches paper yummies!

COngrats Kim! When I saw the cards you submitted to the DT Call I just had a feeling they were going to pick you! Lucky Duck! I guess I'll just keep applying and maybe I'll get a chance too!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on being chosen as a Guest Designer! I loved the card that Kim showed on the PS blog today!
ReplyDeleteHuge congrats Kimberley - looking forward to seeing more gorgeous creations in April :)
ReplyDeleteHey Kim, on that card that they showed on the PS page today, did you stitch in the word with a sewing machine? or by hand?
ReplyDeleteBecky - I used my sewing machine but I used the handwheel on the rounded letters for better control. The foot pedal would' ve been way too fast, but it was still much faster than hand-stitching. And I stitched it before trimming out the word. I'd never really seen that done before so I wasn't real sure how I was going to like it. As it turns out, I LOVEd it (pun intended. Lol!).
DeleteWhoop whoop! Big congrats to you, Kimberly! So excited to see your creations as you always rock your PS stamps! :)
ReplyDeleteYour cards are amazing, Kimberly! I especially love the criss-cross stitched butterflies on the PS Blog today. Wow!!
