Clean and simple (CAS) cards are super popular right now, and while they're not my "go to" style, I do like to try them every once in a while. They challenge me to think a little differently, and make a card that looks complete without using a lot of embellishment. If you haven't checked out CASual Fridays, I would like to encourage you to do so. They issue a weekly challenge, and have an amazingly talented design team with lots of inspiration. I've not participated in one of their challenges (yet), but it's on my to do list. I'd also like to start a new personal challenge to do a CAS card each week, and feature it here as "Simple card Saturday." Here is the first one (well, two):
I printed the sentiment on my computer, using a font called "Pea Heather's Handwriting" from Amanda's blog. The stamp is American Crafts, stamped in Versafine ink, embossed with clear powder, and colored with Prismacolor markers. I tied Martha Stewart baker's twine around the rainbow, put Diamond Stickles glitter glue on the clouds, and did some white dashed lines around the edges.
I did a second, slightly different but still CAS, card too:
Thanks for looking!
So cute, Kim! Love them.
